Priority: Student Learning

  • Objective 1:
    Increase the percent of students meeting/exceeding individual growth targets in reading and math in K-8 to close opportunity gaps.   

    Key Targets:

    • The percentage of students with disabilities (SWD) K-8 who meet/exceed individual growth targets will increase to 65% on NWEA MAPS Reading and Mathematics.  

    Objective 2:
    Increase the percentage of students meeting proficiency targets in reading and math in grades K-8 to close opportunity gaps.

    Key Targets:

    • The percentage of K-8 SWD meeting proficiency targets will increase to 25% on NWEA MAPS Reading and Mathematics.
    • The percent of students with disabilities meeting or exceeding state standards on NYS Assessment will increase by 5%.

    Objective 3:
    Increase the percentage of students in secondary who are attaining the yearly benchmarks of credits and passing Regents exams toward graduation.   

    Key Targets:

    • At secondary, SWD who attain essential credits of 5.5 credits and passing Regents exams will increase to 85% by the end of 9th grade and will maintain or improve in meeting credit/Regents exam benchmarks for 10th, 11th and 12th.
