District Learn to Swim Program
During the school year and throughout the summer, Continuing Education offers the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Program. Watch for the lesson schedule and registration procedures in the Continuing Education brochures. Click here for a list of Swim Level Skills which will be taught for each swim level.
Community Pool Use
The high school pool can be scheduled by Rush-Henrietta school groups and approved Rush-Henrietta community-based organizations. To be approved, your organization must provide the required paperwork {proof of 501(c)(3), appropriate liability insurance, and a list of organization members with addresses}.For a fee schedule, available dates, and appropriate paperwork, contact the continuing education office at 359-7805.
Family Open Swim During the School Year
The Rush-Henrietta Senior High School pool schedule changes throughout the school year. District residents may access the pool for a variety of programs. See the descriptions above for the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program and community use. Family Open Swims may be available, when the pool schedule allows, on weekends and daytime during school recesses. When open swim is available, the cost is $5 per person. For available dates, and up-to-date information, call the continuing education office at 359-7805.
