Education Programs

  • Alternative Education Program Regents Vision

To provide an alternative learning environment for students who have struggled with their academic success in a traditional high school setting. The intent is to engage students and families in the educational process in ways that will enable the students to graduate with a regents diploma or regents with advanced designation diploma.

Instructionally speaking, the Alternative Education Program utilizes the Integrated Co-Teaching service model. This model requires the special education teacher and the general education teacher to work collaboratively to meet the needs of all the students. The Alternative Education Program is an extension of the Rush-Henrietta Senior High School.
