Superintendents

  • The Rush-Henrietta Central School District hired its first superintendent of schools in 1966, hiring John Parker, who had worked for the district as an administrator since 1947. The district has had eight* superintendents. They are:

    Richard TenHaken, 1968-1970
    Raymond Delaney, 1971-1990
    Robert McKanna, 1991-1999
    Kenneth Graham, 1999-2018
    Lawrence Bo Wright, 2018-2022
    Pamela Kissel, 2022-2023 (Interim Superintendent)
    Barbara A. Mullen, 2023-Present

    *Harold Contant served as acting superintendent from Oct.15, 1970, to March 30, 1971, between the departure of Richard TenHaken and the arrival of Raymond Delaney.

    *Ernie Auerbacher served as acting superintendent from April 1990 until the district hired Robert McKanna, who became superintendent in January 1991.

    *Andrew Whitmore served as acting superintendent from July 1, 2022, to July 31, 2022, between the departure of Bo Wright and the arrival of Pamela Kissel.
