Capital Improvement Priorities and Artificial-Turf Presentation

  • A group of parents have approached the Rush-Henrietta Board of Education to request new turf fields behind the Senior High School. The board is exploring the feasibility of this request and hosted a community forum to discuss the pros and cons on Wednesday, March 13, at the Senior High School. If you missed the forum, you can see the presentation below. If you have any questions, please contact us here!

In addition, we would like to remind you about ThoughtExchange, a new tool the district is using to gather feedback. ThoughtExchange is an online forum that provides members of our school community a new way to share opinions about specific topics. What makes this even more powerful is that you also will have the opportunity to rate thoughts provided by others using a five-star scale. When a ThoughtExchange is closed, the district is left with a list of many different thoughts and an indication of how supportive community members are of each of them. Feedback from these exchanges will not be binding, but it will be useful as we think through important decisions.

Our first ThoughtExchange is open through Monday, March 18. It asks for your thoughts about capital improvements and a potential artificial-turf field .We invite you to join in this community conversation by visiting https://my.thoughtexchange.com/#518381637. You may participate in the conversation by posting thoughts and reacting to thoughts posted by others as many times as you wish. Further details on how to participate are provided in the link.
