Budget Background
2017 Budget Newsletter (PDF -1.39 MB)
The monitoring of the current year’s budget, as well as the development of the next year’s budget, is an ongoing process which falls under the direction of the Business Office. Accurate revenue and expense projections are critical to the development of an adequate budget. A group of dedicated district stakeholders, known as the Budget Advisory Council, was formed in 1995 to assist the Superintendent and the Business Office in the development of the budget in an advisory capacity. This collaborative effort among the superintendent, the Business Office staff, and the community contributes to the successful development of the budget.
The annual budget vote will take place from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at the Transportation and Operations Center, 1133 Lehigh Station Road.
