Wellness Workshops

  • One of Rush-Henrietta’s district priorities is mental wellness, and the district is intent on developing a comprehensive mental wellness program. Part of that initiative includes the Wellness Workshop series. These workshops are open to Rush-Henrietta families and employees, and feature experts discussing relevant mental wellness issues and available resources.

    Wellness Workshop #3
This workshop was held virtually in May 2022, and focused on recognizing the effects of trauma on youth, and a discussion of strategies and resources to support them. The workshop features Bri Daniels, the school-based clinical coordinator working with us onsite at Sherman this year, and Dr. Allison Stiles, our point of contact for consultations through the Expanded School Mental Health Initiative. You may view a recording of the workshop here: Trauma-Responsive Strategies to Support Children and Teens

    Wellness Workshop #2

Dr. Melissa Heatly, clinical child psychologist and director of Expanded School Mental Health Initiatives at UR Pediatric Behavioral Health & Wellness, led the expert panel discussion.
