Safety First: Lockdown Questions and Answers
-
Keeping in mind that the safety and well being of our students is always our top priority, the Rush-Henrietta Central School District regularly revisits and updates its emergency-response plan. The district realizes there is always insight to be gained from the experiences of others, and we strive to improve our plans by considering how other real-life situations have unfolded.
The district has created a question-and-answer document that explains more about school lockdowns - when and why they are used, how information about them is shared, etc. This document is available in PDF format by clicking the below link. For the safety and well being of our children, parents are encouraged to read this document and understand its contents. If you have any questions, please contact Nerlande Anselme, Assistant Superintendent of Student and Family Services, at 359-5018 or nanselme@rhnet.org. Thank you for your continued support.
