Remembering Dr. Kanner
-
Dr. Lawrence Kanner passed away on April 2, 2023, at the age of 93. Dr. Kanner was the beloved principal of what was then Roth Senior High School in the 1980s prior to his retirement. A group of grateful former students and family friends gathered in June 2023 to honor and remember Dr. Kanner and his contributions to the Rush-Henrietta Central School District. A written tribute to the impact this formal principal had on the students is linked below. Thank you to Barb Williams for providing the document. There are also links to videos of the tree dedication ceremony held in June. (These YouTube videos are courtesy of Barb Williams and Kathy Williamson.)
Rush-Henrietta Central School District extends its condolences to the family and friends of Dr. Kanner, and appreciates his years of service to our students and community.
