John Eckhardt, Class of 1960

Dr. John Eckhardt, Class of 1960, has been in the education field since 1965, when he started his career as a classroom teacher in Wheatland-Chili.

Since then, John has been an assistant principal, principal (Wheatland-Chili), director of secondary education (Fairport), assistant superintendent (Fairport) and superintendent (Canandaigua and Brighton). John also held positions at the University of Rochester, State University College of New York at Brockport, and the Genesee Valley School Boards Institute.

Dr. John Eckhardt was honored with the Distinguished Alumni award in 2002.
