Jane Uebelacker Talley, Class of 1956

  • Jane Uebalacker Talley, Class of 1956, is a lifelong resident of Henrietta who provided 34 years of service to the Rush-Henrietta school district and the community. She developed and implemented the school crossing guard program, was director of the School Crossing Guard program for the town from 1968-1992, and conducted training sessions for crossing guard programs throughout the county.

    In 1992, she joined the Rush-Henrietta Central School District's Information Services department, where she worked as a data analyst. Jane was active in PTA at all levels, was a member of the District Parent Advisory Council, and has many years of involvement with the Girl Scouts, Good Shepherd Church, and the American Cancer Society.

    Jane Uebalacker Talley was honored with the Distinguished Alumni award in 2002.
