Financial Aid

  • Each year, Rush-Henrietta Senior High School offers a Financial Aid Information Session featuring a local financial aid expert.

You can find the 2021-2022 Financial Aid Night HERE. Dr. Shafer is joined with Jerome St. Croix, Director of Financial Aid at Monroe Community College, share valuable information about loans, grants, the FAFSA process, and much more! You can follow along using these presentation materials.

Completing the FAFSA can be overwhelming and confusing. That's why it's important to take advantage of this great virtual workshop!

New York State Higher Education Services Corporation is holding a Virtual FAFSA Completion Workshop on Thursday, November 18, 3pm - 7pm. The event is free and open to any senior planning to attend college in the fall of 2022.

Financial aid professionals will be available to provide private, one-on-one assistance in completing the FAFSA and NYS Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) applications.

Registration is required and is now open at StartHereGetThere.ny.gov/events

The financial aid process is an extremely important part of the college choice process for many families.

The most helpful peice of advice we can offer is to be in contact with college Financial Aid Representatives. During the college application and financial aid application process, be sure to direct specific questions about the financial aid process to the college's Financial Aid Office.
