Instructional Space Committee
-
The Instructional Space Committee consists of interested parents, teachers, and administrators. Each year the committee compares the district's instructional space and its projected future student enrollment data. From this comparison grow recommendations for possible facilities changes necessary to meet future instructional needs. The committee typically meets three or four times during the year, beginning in the autumn and completing its work by early winter. Its recommendations are made to the superintendent and to the Board of Education to help them anticipate and plan contingencies to meet the district's future educational needs.
Dates for the Instructional Space Committee meetings for the 2024-2025 school year are to be determined. Meetings take place at the Parker Administration Building, 2034 Lehigh Station Road. Persons interested in serving on this important committee should call Dr. Casey van Harssel, assistant superintendent, at 359-5042 or e-mail cvanharssel@rhnet.org.
