September Update:

Schedule changes - Staffing and class sizes are based on student course requests, which is why we have a strict schedule change policy at R-H. Counselors are permitted to make schedule changes only for the following reasons:

_____ Error or Omission ____ Drop Study Hallà Add class

_____ Graduation Requirement _____ Accommodate U of R/ RIT/MCC

_____ Co-op /Internship _____ Level Change (AP to Regents)

_____ Career/College Requirement

All schedule change requests must be for one of these reasons. If your request is appropriate, pick up a BLUE form in the Counseling Center (or download it from the web page) and have a parent/guardian sign it. You MUST make an appointment by signing up on your school counselor’s clipboard during your lunch outside the cafeteria. Return the blue form to your school counselor at the time of your meeting.

If the schedule change request does NOT fit one the reasons listed above, the request must go to a committee for evaluation. After September 17, 2014 all requests for a schedule change must be accompanied by a completed PINK form, including the required student, parent & teacher signatures. The change then must be approved by the Grade Level Achievement Team.

9/17/2014 – SUNY College Fair – at MCC 6 – 8:30 p.m.

9/18/2014 – RHSHS Open House 6:45 p.m.

9/23/2014 – Rochester Area College Fair in RHSHS, Cafeteria 8:15 – 9 a.m.

9/24/2014 – Rochester College Night at Marketplace Mall 6:30-8:30 p.m.

9/25/2014 – Academy Night at Geneseo High School 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
