Hi.  My name is Kim LaVigueur.  I am a math teacher at Sperry High School.  This is my 31st year teaching.  I was hired in Rush Henrietta in 1996, taught at the high school for 4 years, the Ninth Grade Academy for 17 years and now I'm back at the high school.  I have taught all levels of math from 6th grade through Calculus II in college.  I have taught at private schools, public schools and three different colleges.

Teaching is not a job to me, its my passion.  I love working with people and I have a genuine love for them.  I care about all my students not only as learners but as individuals.  My goals for all my students are for them to be happy, healthy, safe and learning.  I never give up on a student and I will continually push them to do and be the best they can.

On a personal note, I was married for 24 years, have two daughters ages 26 and 27, and a rottweiler named Bailey.  I love to garden, make crafts, teach math, and have fun with my family.  I am also addicted to chocolate and Snoopy. I have a huge collection of Snoopy stuffed animals and objects.  When I walk into Hallmark they know me as the "crazy Snoopy Lady" because I have bought everything Snoopy that they sell.
