My name is Joe Bellanca and I have been teaching social studies at Rush-Henrietta for 20 years. I grew up here in town and graduated from R-H in 1993. After high school, I attended Nazareth College, graduating with a degree in history in 1997. I did my graduate work at SUNY Brockport, completing my Masters Degree requirements in 2001.  I have taught at Roth, the Ninth Grade Academy, and the Senior High School, and have taught grades 7-12.  I am currently teaching 11th grade United States History and Government, and Advanced Placement United States History. I am also the Varsity Coach in the Boys Volleyball and Boys Tennis programs. My wife and I live in Henrietta with our two daughters.

Outside of school, I am an avid reader, and I enjoy traveling to historic sites.
