All about Mrs. Reitz

Mrs. Reitz's (formally Miss Reichert) Bio:

Where were you born?:Rochester, NY

Where did you go to elementary school?: I actually am a graduate of Rush-Henrietta and I attended Leary for elementary school!

Where did you go to College? I received my Bachelors degree and my Masters degree from SUNY Geneseo.

Did you teach any where else before coming to Leary? Yes! I was a 5th grade teacher for 4 years at Letchworth Middle School. This is my 13th year teaching.

Do you have any kids? Yes I have a little girl named Evelyn, who is turning 3 in October and a little boy named Pierson who will be 1 in September

Do you have any pets? Yes! I have a dog named Lizzie. She is a king charles cavalier/cocker spaniel mix

What sports do you like? I love lacrosse and soccer. I play both of these sports in college and coached both at the high school level for Rush-Henrietta.

What did you do over the summer? I stayed home with Evelyn and Pierson this summer. We went to the zoo, the museum, and had lots of play dates.

What is your favorite school subject? That is a tough question! I really enjoy both Math and Science.

What genre of books do you like to read? I mostly enjoy reading mystery books and Andrew Clements is one of my favorite authors!
