Meet Mrs. Hess

This is my 19 th year teaching at Winslow.  Most of those years have been at 2nd grade which I just love.  The growth second graders make as readers and writers is wonderful to watch. I truly enjoy the Winslow students and their families and can't imagine teaching anywhere else.

My family lives in Hamlin on the same road my husband, Dean grew up on. My daughter, Laura is a graduate of SUNY Fredonia and recently moved to Houston TX. My son, still lives at home and works in construction. We live with our dog, Abby and cat, Lucy. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading, gardening and camping.
