Rush-Henrietta leads the way among local districts in holding Safety Week drills each year. To help ensure everyone remembers what to do during an emergency, Safety Week is now held twice annually, in the fall and spring. During these times, students and staff members practice emergency response drills that involve: evacuation, lockout, shelter-in-place, hold-in-place, and lockdown. Our transportation department also conducts a NYSED mandatory 'early dismissal' drill during the spring safety week.
