Homework Expectations
- Reading: It is expected that your child reads for at least 20 minutes at night. Titles should be recorded on their Agenda. I strongly encourage parent participation with the nightly reading.
- Math Fact Fluency: Students should practice math facts daily, 10-15 minutes at night. It is an end of 3rd Grade benchmark that students know all their multiplication and division facts.
- APPLY Book- Students will bring home a math workbook for each unit. This is for home practice. I would strongly recommend this for nightly practice. Please see homework calendar for the lesson schedule.
- Unfinished Work: Students will be responsible for finishing any unfinished work from the day and returning it completed the following morning.
Please help your child create a study routine for both homework and virtual learning days (quiet location, supervision, etc.)
