Who is Mr. Kinney?

You might ask, "Who is Mr. Kinney?" Well, here are some things about me.

Born: Warsaw, NY

Family: Mrs. Kinney (my wife) works for SUNY Geneseo. We have two daughters that are in 9th and 6th grade.

Profession: 6th Grade Teacher at Sherman Intermediate School. I started teaching 6th grade in 1996!

Education: I went to Warsaw Central School K-12. In high school I played basketball and tennis. I was also on Student Council. I have earned college degrees from SUNY Fredonia, SUNY Cortland, and SUNY Oswego.

Hobbies: I enjoy time with my family, reading, golf, new computer technology gadgets, listening to a variety of music, camping, story telling, and mowing my lawn.

Favorite Books: The Giver, by Lois Lowery; Math Curse, by Jon Scieszka & Lane Smith; Little Max the Cement Truck, by Renee Bartkowski

Favorite Sports Teams: Toronto Blue Jays (World Champions in 1992, 1993), New England Patriots (World Champions 2001, 2003, 2004, 2014, 2016, & 2018), Buffalo Sabres, Syracuse University's Basketball Team (National Champions 2003), and of course the Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets!
