Handwriting and Letter Practice:
* While your child is in the bathtub, have him or her draw letters on the wall of the tub in shaving cream, soap, or paint.
* Trace a letter on your child's back and have him or her guess which letter it is, then have him or her write that letter on a piece of paper. Take turns.
* Fill a cookie sheet with sand, sugar, flour, etc and trace letters.
* Form letters out of Play dough, clay, string, pipe cleaners, etc.
* Make cookie letters. Have your child form the letters by rolling the dough and putting the pieces together (big line, little line, small curve and big curve)
* Use different types of pencils for writing practice (gel pens, colored pencils, scented markers, crayons, etc.)
