Students recently completed a unit on Forces & Motion. They learned about the six types of simple machines. They know that work is a force applied to an object and a distance the object moves. Friction is a rubbing force which slows and eventually stops motion. They know that lubrication eases friction. Students also had a week long Lego WeDo build that incorporated using their Chromebooks and Lego sets to build, program and run machines built with simple machines.
