About Mrs. Atseff

  • I am a special education science teacher at the Alternative High School and a NYS Master Teacher.

Before teaching at Rush Henrietta, I was a long term substitute at Penfield High School teaching Living Environment. During that same time in 2006, I was finishing my M.S.Ed. in Students with Disabilities from Nazareth College. I received my undergraduate B.S. in 2004 in Biology Adolescent Education, also at Nazareth.

I reside in Greece, NY with my husband and two sons. We are a busy hockey family- my husband and two boys all play and I am the manager for my sons travel team. With my other spare time, I enjoy reading, party planning, decorating, painting, and landscape design. During the summer months, we spend most of our time at our cottage in Chaumont Bay, 1000 Islands region. We enjoy boating, jetskiing, kayaking, four wheeling, and swimming with our kids.
