My name is Dean James and I am the new School Counselor for the Alternative Education Program, grades 9-12!  I am a proud member of the Henrietta community and also Roberts Wesleyan graduate.  I have over fifteen years experience working with youth populations in recreation, sports, schools, and community settings.  

In my role I will be following the ASCA National Model guidelines working with ALL of our students across three key settings; Academic, College & Career, and Personal/Social Development.  This comprehensive program includes: 9-12 career guidance; individual student planning; preventive and responsive services, collaboration with families, faculty, post-secondary institutions and other stakeholders.  

Please use me as one of your first resources at WLC as my primary role is to help you and your family navigate on a successful journey through our high school.
