• Graduation will be held outdoors at Elmer Gordon Stadium, located behind the Senior High School. Twelve different mini-ceremonies will be held; six on Friday, June 26, and six more on Saturday, June 27. Each ceremony will honor roughly 35 students. Students may bring as many as three family members with them. If each student is accompanied by three guests, that is 140 people. Add staffing of 10 people, and you can see how quickly we reach the state-mandated maximum capacity of 150 people. Of course, we will adhere to distancing guidelines. We respectfully ask our families to please abide by the three-person limit.

Seating for our seniors and their guests will be provided on the field. Graduates and their three guests will be directed to their assigned seating area, and will be seated together for the ceremony. The bleachers will not be open.

Each of these 12 sessions will be no more than 30 minutes long. Ceremonies will feature a procession, a few brief speeches, and an opportunity to receive your diploma. Each ceremony will be recorded, and a video featuring segments of all ceremonies will be compiled and made available on the district's YouTube channel in July. This graduation video will be a special celebration of all our graduates, and will include additional speeches and segments not held during the live events.

We will have a photographer on hand to capture a photo of each senior. Families will be able to take photos in the stadium for about 15 minutes after the ceremony, as well. We also will provide backdrops that you may use for photo opportunities. While you are doing this, our staff will be preparing for the next round of soon-to-be graduates, who will be arriving for their literal moment in the sun.

In the event the weather is uncooperative, rain dates are June 28 and 29.
