Private Parochial and Charter Schools

Any school-age child who is planning to or already attending a private or parochial/charter school is required to be registered within the public school district that they reside. Please review the information below on how to complete this type of registration.

General Information (required for all students living in Rush-Henrietta, to attend another type of school)
  • Fill out and complete the Demographic Chart
  • Provide proof of residency documentation, as follows:
    • A mortgage or deed/tax bill document to a house, or a rental lease, in the parent/guardian name. If your name, as parent/guardian, is not on the mortgage or lease, the district registrar will need to provide you with a Shared Housing Affidavit detailing information on how to establish residency.
  • If applicable, a copy of the judicial custody order or court-ordered guardianship papers. Please contact the district registrar with any questions relating to this required type of documentation.
Transportation Information (optional)
  • If your child will need transportation services from Rush-Henrietta, please fill out and submit the transportation form. Please click here for more information and a link to the transportation form

  • These forms will need to be submitted by April 1 every year for the next school year.

  • The transportation department schedules and provides the bus information to parents/guardians.

Note:  Non-public students can only be registered in one public school district. Parents who live in two different school districts must register their child(ren) in the district in which their child(ren) primarily live. (Transportation would only be provided by that school district.)

  • Once a student is registered into Rush-Henrietta, this information is provided to the private/parochial/charter school and will need to match the parent's name/address who has the child registered at that private/parochial/charter school.
  • If you would like to enroll your child into one of our school buildings, please contact the district registrar’s office.

If you have any questions, please contact the district registrar at (585) 359-7957 or via email.
