be safe and have your belongings be safe.

In order to ensure that student rights and responsibilities are maintained, students are expected to--

 

1.                 Follow directions.

2.                 Raise your hand to speak.

3.                 Stay in your assigned seat.

4.                 Speak appropriately to adults and peers.

c.     no name calling or teasing

d.     no verbal abuse or threats to anyone*

e.      no talking back to the teacher!

5.                 Use mature behavior.

a.      keep hands and feet to yourself

b.     do not throw things

c.     no physical or verbal disruption

6.                 Treat people with respect

a.      no physical or verbal sexual harassment*

b.     no hurtful teasing or gossip*

7.                 Power down and put away all electronic devices*

8.                 Get to class on time and be seated by the time the bell rings.*

9.                 Take only the amount of break time permitted by the teacher.*

10.             Ask for bathroom and drinking fountain passes only during breaks.

11.             Write all assignments in your agendas.

12.             Listen to the teacher when she is speaking without speaking at the same time.

13.             Stay on task.

14.             Tell the truth.

15.             Be prepared for class.
