Celebrating R-H Employees: Message from Dr. Mullen
During my first month as your new superintendent, it has been my pleasure to visit each of our buildings multiple times. I want you to know I see you and have noticed the caring, dedicated, and thoughtful ways you accomplish your work. I'm writing today to share more along those lines, in the form of text and video.
When I visited the Transportation and Operations Center, I watched mechanics hard at work underneath buses, members of the grounds crew heading out to tackle their projects, and drivers doing their safety checklist before hitting the road to pick up students.
While visiting our schools, I’ve seen clerical staff greeting visitors, answering questions, and supporting teachers and staff. I have watched paraprofessionals provide students with the care and direction they need, and seen cleaners and custodians respond within minutes to the most urgent - or basic - of requests. At the same time, I’ve seen teachers relentlessly encouraging students of all abilities and backgrounds to pursue excellence and reach their full potential.
I know there are many others working hard to make a difference, as well. This list includes our administrators, as well as district staff who serve in different capacities. I continually see your dedication to this important cause.
These messages always carry the risk of leaving someone out - such as Food Services, Information Systems, Special Education, Mental Health, and our Technology Services staff, to name a few. With that in mind, I want every R-H employee to know that your work is noticed, appreciated, and valued for the positive impact you have on our school community.
Thank you for everything you do, day in and day out, to help make this school community so exceptional.
Sincerely,

Superintendent
