Sherman Teachers Receive $10,000 from Burlington

On Thursday, April 25, teachers and students at Sherman Sherman student begins teh assembly Elementary School received a wonderful surprise during a Be the Nice Kid assembly! Representatives from Burlington Stores dropped by to present a check for $10,000 to be shared by the teachers at Sherman to purchase classroom supplies!

Sherman Principal Jeff Pollard asked all the students to give a big round of applause for the teachers and staff at Sherman who work hard every day for the students.

"I love hearing about how you are building relationships with each other, and how you have this super, tight-knit community here at Sherman,” said Burlington Store Manager Christopher Kahovec. “In conjunction with Adopt-a-Classroom, we have picked Sherman Elementary to make a donation to the teachers of this community so you can get the supplies you need to keep growing our future leaders."
