Free School Meals for All Students Ending

The federal government-funded program that allowed all students access to free meals during the COVID-19 pandemic ended in June 2022. This means families will need to take action in order to be sure your student is ready to get meals at school during the 2022-2023 school year. 

If your student qualifies for free and reduced price meals, you need to complete a new application each school year. The application will be available beginning August 1 and may be downloaded from our website at www.rhnet.org/mealapplication. It will take 10 days to process and approve once it is received in our office. Applications on file for the 2021-2022 school year will expire on October 7, 2022. If you do not submit a new application by October 18, you must pay full price for your child’s meal, or have your child bring lunch from home. We do not accept faxed applications. Students are not allowed to charge meals. If you do not qualify for free or reduced meals, the district offers a convenient prepayment option. You may prepay for breakfast, lunch, and snacks in the following ways: 

  • Send cash or a check ($5 minimum) made payable to R-H Food Service to school with your child.
  • Prepay online through our secure automated system by logging on to www.mypaymentsplus.com or calling the toll free phone number, (866) 727-3053. Visa or Mastercard (credit or debit card) and electronic checks are accepted.
