Keeping Elementary Students Safe

We would like to remind everyone that bus drivers in the Rush-Henrietta Central School District are not able to drop children in grades K-3 off at home without a parent or guardian present, or children in grades 4-6 who do not have a safe way to enter the home.

In the event the parent or parent designee is not visible to the driver, or a child cannot make his or her way inside the house, the child will be transported to our Carlton Webster building, 2000 Lehigh Station Road. This service will cost $25 the first time it is used, $40 the second time, and $50 the third time. This payment is due on arrival and may be paid with cash or credit card. The program closes at 5 p.m. each weekday. After three bus returns, you will be asked to secure permanent after-school child care for your child(ren). Cub Care at each of our elementary buildings is an option, for a fee.
