Rush-Henrietta has been approved for the Community Eligibility Provision for the 2026-2027 school year. This means all students in grades UPK-12 in our school buildings are eligible for free breakfast and lunch each school day, regardless of need.
Should I Still Submit a Free and Reduced Price Meal Application (Income Data Form)?
Yes! If you meet eligibility guidelines, you are encouraged to still submit an application. Not only is much of the aid our district receives from New York based on the percent of students with applications on file, but there are direct benefits to you:
- Application must be on file to quality for waivers for AP exam fees, college applications, instrument rental, etc.
- The Federal P-EBT Food Benefit cards provided to families during the pandemic were based on applications such as these. If a current application is not on file, any future benefits may be impacted.
If your student qualifies for free and reduced price meals, you will need to complete a new application each school year to be eligible for the benefits listed. See below for the Income Data Form. Applications take 10 days to process and approve once it is received in our office. This year's application should be submitted by October 2, 2026. Last year's application will expire on October 16, 2026. We do not accept faxed, scanned, or emailed forms.
