Fine Motor

    Fine motor skills refer to the development of hand skills, including strength, dexterity, and coordination. In the school setting, fine motor skills impact such areas as manipulation of school tools, opening containers, cutting, handwriting, computer use.

    Visual motor skills refer to the ability to interpret and coordinate movements with the visual information that a person is receiving.  This impacts many areas of education, including, but not limited to, the ability to complete puzzles, mazes, art projects and/or construction activities, produce legible handwriting, complete worksheets, copy from near or far, cutting, and/or ball activities.
